About

Adsubculture is a reference site that explores process and workflow within advertising agencies.

Contained here are my own personal thoughts and viewpoints on how agencies might approach day-to-day operations.

This site is meant to be used as a general concept guide, since all advertising agencies will have their own unique approach to operations management.

Contextual tags for hosted blog images

While many blogs provide a limited space for image hosting, bloggers often find alternative spaces for hosting images. Although there a number of image hosting websites out there, one of them stands out as being unique. flickr.com lets you or the people who leave comments add notes or tags to your photos. For example, if a hosted image contains a butterfly flying around a field of sunflowers and the tags have been added, you can click on the image and then search for other hosted images (which have "public" access) with similiar tags, i.e. search for other images with a butterfly or sunflowers.
